We also assist employers with creating a safe working environment, orienting and training newly hired individuals, monitoring and documenting progress, ensuring our learners are provided with appropriate accommodations (e.g., flexible work hours, sending information in writing, building trust, allowing processing time, or providing advance notice when there is a change in deadline) providing direction and role modeling positive work behaviors.  Through our job coaching, we promote inclusion at the workplace which is an integral to making sure our learners feel supported at their jobsites. accommodations that someone on the spectrum may need can be helpful for everyone.  We recommend weekly or bi-weekly check-ins with the job coach and supervisor at the workplace to ensure needs and accommodations are being met.

We offer a variety of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.
