Laura Leon is a Licensed Behavior Analyst and Clinical Director at Learning Pathways DC, an ABA company that provides comprehensive and individualized services to children and adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Laura is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in Virginia, DC and Maryland. With over 8 years of special education and ABA experience, Laura has a diverse knowledge of ABA programming, behavior management and special education. Laura has experience working with verbal and non-verbal clients of all ages with autism, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD, ADD, Prader-Willi syndrome, seizure disorders and Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
Her career started as an assistant 1:1 teacher working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental delays. She has focused most of her career on special education instruction, curriculum design and implementation, and development of compassionate driven in-home ABA services.
Her background in special education and ABA are driven by a common goal to serve clients directly through our personalized 1:1 interactions understanding that effective ABA programming is based on many factors including the home environment, family culture, skills, behaviors, and development of each child.
